Two Different Guelph “The Cash Store” Break-Ins

Not our typical lengthy post, but we wanted to bring attention to some interesting activity happening in Guelph, ON. According to Guelph police, thieves have used neighbouring businesses to get access to “The Cash Store” retail locations which they robbed; $40,000 at one and $50,000 at the other. Both robberies occurred within a 2-month time span.

Thankfully, no one was injured due to the robberies. At this time, police are investigating both as related crimes due to the nature of the heists. In both cases, the neighbouring businesses were first burglarized.

Update: October 5, 2015

Three Toronto-area men have been arrested for breaking and entering. After investigating with the Toronto police major crime unit, three men have been charged with break and enter. 21-year-old Matias Carrion Aguirre, 35-year-old Patricio Meneses Velasquez and 39-year-old Carlos Flores Fuentealba have been charged with two counts of break and enter, and Fuentealba has an additional charge of possession of property obtained by crime. They were due to appear in court today.
